Spoke about these on here when they were first announced. Absolutely stunning car in my opinion.

I don't know if i would have one, maybe as a daily driver, but they have lots of road presence.

By the way, other than the red car, those pics don't do it any justice at all. They are STUNNING in the flesh.

Colleague of mine has just taken delivery of a Turbo'd met blue one. Extremely nice...lovely shape, very impressive interior.

I know that 2.0 liter turbo sounds impressive doesn't it.

I so wish i wasn't such a dick when i was in my teens and bought new cars and bikes back then, should have waited until now to buy a decent car like that :( unless i win the lotto it's not gonna happen he he :(

I think so...though doesn't look as metallic in that picture as I remember.

I've not seen the blue one but i did see a black one. I don't think any photo's truely do the car justice. Its one of those cars that just doesn't photograph well i guess lol.

Just had a look at the specs on Parkers and i'm not blown away. The 1.4 SC seems the most impressive to me if the figures are correct. 157bhp and a 0-60 of 7.7?? Thats amazing if correct considering the manual 2.0l gets there in 7 secs.

Personally i'd either go for the 1.4 or the Oil burner. Of course that would be in a money no object scenario as there is no way i could afford one as a daily driver. If it was my only car i would probably get the 2L just because lol.

Much better than the volvo. I know the manager of a vw garage. He let me drive the R32 he had before this, I prefered the scirocco over that. The Dsg gearbox is phenominal, The interior is really nice, Felt really well made and Made me wish I had 24k.

I will tell her that then lol

obviously she's getting finance so we're going to have too look into that, weather we go through vw or get a loan not decided yet, she has a 03 fiesta to part ex so we're see what deals are about, volvo proposed a fairly good price for her car.
