supradibbs
Am a Tech Rep for World Airways basically am a Aircraft mechanic but also a Flight mech so i fly all over the world with the airplanes incase they break, its a great job seen alot off cool places. The company requires us to taxi the airplanes and to be able to do full takeoff power engine runs hense the sim time.
dani_r
Ah I see, that's pretty cool! The biggest things I work with is Embraer 195s, BAe 146s, Q400s, not quite 747 territory! But I'm joining the RAF and with any luck will get to play with C130s, Chinooks or C17a Globemasters.....sweet!

Carl_S
Kranz's comment about brakes made me think of something fun. Does the sim simulate weather on the taxiway? Ice? Doughnuts anyone?

caseys
Anywhere in the world you want thats the great thing about a sim:D Out of curiosity what's the hardest airport to fly in to? I've heard some of Japan's are quite narrow. Flew back home from Singapore on the A380-800 on Tuesday, was quite impressive!

supradibbs
Just got back had a blast Did all our emergency drills for engine fires, hot starts, hung starts etc, then onto taxing which on these a/c is very hard as you sit 20 ft forward of the nose gear so all your turns are made 20ft after the line but we both did well and had 2 hours off flying the beast
