Still at least it was worth something back then, it wouldn't be worth much with Gordon running the shop. Serious Question, if the scots don't want to be governed by westminster, why do we let them work there?. We make more money as a percentage of GDP through exports than Japan (11% vs 8%) We do still make a hell of a lot of cars (more than we did in the 70's) and other items, but you have to pay for it, bedclothes will be £200 instead of £15 from Indonesia.
