I broke my leg..

..well my ankle to be precise.

Managed to slip over on the snow yesterday and caught it underneath me. Following a loud crack and lots of pain, a 4x4 ambulance came to pick me up and take me for an x-ray.

Apparently I've chipped the bottom of the inside bone in my leg and am now plastered up to my knee.

Stupid thing was, I had walked about 1.5 miles to my girlfriends house as the roads were pretty bad here and got there fine. Then managed to slip right outside of her front gate!

In lots of pain now, and trying to get used to using crutches for the first time. Didn't even get sent home with painkillers, but got the doctor to sort me some codeine for later so at least I might get some sleep tonight! :(

Sorry Darryl, I'll see if I can get somebody to bring me up, I'm owed some favours!

Wish I had been drunk at the time, it might not have hurt so bad! It's not anywhere near as bad now, just that dull bone ache.

I've just popped a codeine table though so hopefully that'll relax things a bit.

Also got given a bottle of lactulose just in case ;) Lol..
