Guest iangibson57
Hi All, Any help would be great. I went to change my dials today. So reading http://www.internetwork.org.uk/Dash%20Conversion/dashrem.htm guide it said to disconnect the battery. So I did this took the dash apart all went well put the new dials in put the dash back together re connected the battery. Tested the dials and they work fine. I was well pleased with my self. Big thanks for supra steveo for this guide http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=145162&highlight=fit+El-Glo+dials+guide But when I came to lock the bonnet it just won’t lock down. I've searched and found some other posts like this and they mentioned about getting a screw driver to push down on the lock and seeing if they lock. I have tried this and it won’t lock even doing that. So I’m at a total loss of what to do any help would be great. Thanks Ian
AlanM
Sounds like the cable is jamming in the "pulled" position mate. Does the handle feel normal or waffley?
merckx
Just the obvious lubrication of latches and the cables etc.
Guest iangibson57
Hi Sorry for the n00b reply but would lubrication of latches and the cables make any difference if the catches don't lock even when i just use a screw driver. Thanks Ian
