Big Stu
When under bracking i get a drone noise coming from the rear of the car. i have now noticed that it seems to be doing it when driving also, worse when i shut of the throttle. have heard that sticking brake sliders could cause this? Have noticed that the hand brake comes up a very long way but just passed it's m.o.t. on it's performance to stop the car. Any ideas before i start to pay out for parts i don't need? Thanks. beagle
how long as this been happening if your shoes on handbrake been touching for long time might be worn down to the metal . metal on metal can make vibration can make it worst if its on one side. Ian C
Could be the wheel bearing. Jack it up and try to rock the wheel. Any movement at all is bad. There is something about the half shaft splines as well that Chris Wilson has mentioned before, have a search if the bearing is OK. -Ian
