Paul372
my supe has been broken for a little while now with a broken diff, so thurdays i dicided to get off my arse and fix it. i fitted a new diff and new oil test drove it and all was good problem sorted. so i throught yesterday while i was in the mood i would treat the supe to a full service, i change engine oil and filter, fitted NGK spark plugs, change the gearbox oil and coolant, just got to get someone to fit the new fuel filter i got because i didnt fancy getting petrol all down my arm and i also want to order a new o2 sensor from nic when hes better, then i think thats about it supe been given a good going over for the spring, in all not a bad job to do quite easy
supra matt
good work mate the fuel filter is easy enough to change but you must do it to a cold car so there is no pressure in the system . Just slacken the rear bolt off and let what petrol is in it drain out (not much). then its just a 10 min job .
Paul372
thanks, i might jack it back up and do it myself then, can you use normal spanners or do you have to use one of those brake spanners
supra matt
Normal spanner mate 17 mm i think . But like i said make sure the car is stone cold or there will be about 50 psi of pressure in the line In which case you will defiantly get petrol up your arm . lol .
