I hate the SA80, yeah its made by H and K but its crap.

Too unreliable, too many parts, but it is alot more accurate than most rifles

I'll take your posts as being worth more than mine as you use it a lot more than I did years ago!...

12. The Monarchy :)

Come on lads. We're not going to save the economy by making pastry and flogging pics of the Queen.

Maybe we can do it by paying higher taxes, working longer hours and getting poked in the bottom by the Govt.

We seem to do really well on all of those plus we're really good at complaining but doing nothing about it.

Go Team Britain.

On a serious note, Traffic Control Systems, our company control all the message signs you guys see on oun our motorways

With all due respect, they're pants.

9 times out of 10 when they say 'queue ahead' or 'object in road ahead' they are completely wrong.

Another 'best of british' that doesn't work :p

OK I'm going to make a stand here:

That is absolute bollocks, 9 out of 10, the only reason those signs say Queue Ahead is when the road network has detected a queue. Do you really think the government would pay us God knows how many billion a year if we kept putting up signs saying there were queues when there were not.

Every time I have come across a sign saying, "Queue Caution" there has been a queue. More often than ot when it says "Queue Jct 65 to 63" it is spot on with the junction numbers.

We have systems in the road that detect slow moving traffic, if they say there's a queue there will be a queue.

So don't give me any slaver like the usual piss taking british public about how the signs are crap, we know when every singal sign goes on & we can prove to the government that what is said was correct, do you expect we are a FTSE 100 company for nothing?
