Is anything British any good?

I was reading this thread and a few others and it appears that we don't make anything much here apart from carrots and guns.

Please add to this list anything that we make in the UK that we're good at and can be proud of:

1. Crisps - I have yet to travel anywhere in the world that can rival our variety of flavours and quality of our crisps

OK I'm thinking more of the stuff we make here that we can flog to the rest of the world. To try and get us out of this recession. So far we have:

1. Crisps

2. Drivers

3. TV comedy

4. Premier League football

5. Guns

6. Soldiers

7. Hifi

Anything else?

Its the most popular due to its price and ability to fire in any environment.

You can bury it in sand, leave it, come back and it will fire

Aint very accutate tho

True, and I still admire the SA80, and the LSW, I loved firing them, and being on exercise with them (In the Cadets but had a few excursions with the light infantry) :)

I hate the SA80, yeah its made by H and K but its crap.

Too unreliable, too many parts, but it is alot more accurate than most rifles
