Worth a tenth or two in the 60ft at Elvington which translates to 3 - 6 tenths over the quarter... The Toyo's are for the handling and top speed course dude, going to use my mickeys for the drag racing. Matt is trying to explain how this steering thing works so i can drive round the cones!!!! dude Posted July 20, 2009 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Got it all mapped on pump gas and its looking good 638 @ 1.5 bar, just managed to empty the tank with a bit of road testing on our private road:taped: and she pulls right thru to redline in 6th no problem:eyebrows:. dude Posted July 20, 2009 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Makes boost really early too, I dont think it will make massive numbers on race fuel but that prob won't matter as traction is nothing like the pod, I think its going to be a handfull on the handling circuit!!!!! Sure helps my nerves though Pretty pleased with the car, can't believe it's taken me 18 months to get round to mapping it properly ! Poor old girl always takes 2nd place to customers cars now Still, providing it comes back from totb in one piece, then I vow to start using it again. tDR Posted July 21, 2009 Author Share Posted July 21, 2009 Wow: To all I'm advised I can now release my final TOTB news update, which is to announce that Trevor Duckworth on behalf of TOTB events has agreed a new TV/dvd package to film this year’s event, which will then be broadcast as a highlights programme on Sky Sports 1 on the 24th August 2009. (Transmission time tba) The full footage will made into a dvd again and pre-orders will be taken on the day at the Japanese Performance magazine tent, in pitlane, where results displays will be running all day. Next year though we intend to take two cars and start preparing a lot earlier.
