I am looking to buy a SUPRA, although dueto my age my insurance company wont insure me on an import.

Im looking for a UK spec, Manual 3.0 ltr Twin Turbo Toyota Supra 1993-1996, preferably with less than 100,000 miles on clock

I anyone has a supra for sale that meets this criteria please get in contact :)

(fingers crossed) :-)

The extra cost for a uk spec copared to a j spec would probably remove any savings on insurance unless you are under 20.

Although the cars have come down a lot in price recently they can still be very expensive to run so please bear that in mind ! ;)

:yeahthat:

It also depends on which insurence company you go with

Theres a sponsored insrence compnay that gives club discount, you will need to be a paid up member tho

and there is a few other good insurence companies that have been discussed before

Have a look and hopefully some will be able to help you out

I cant help thinking that if your insurance company wont insure you an an import (even an NA). Then you shouldnt be driving one of the precious and rare manual uk specs.

Probably because it may very well end up like this.

Or even this.

Let me guess 5k max.

He is going to be needing more like 8-10 to get one in good condition. Then the first time it needs serviceing/MOT it well be for sale again unless it is up a tree/ditch. :p

I ran one of those insurance check things on my old reg number for my old car the other day. Said it wasnt on the database of insured cars... Makes me sad to think its probably in a scrapper somewhere :(

You aren’t getting a UK manual for that price, unless its a Cat D.

Auto on the other hand...

Id say more cat C for a manual.

And not a very nice auto tbh mine was 7.5k and was very good condition. Id still say that is cat D auto.

Even a Jspec auto TT will be ropey for 4k. You would get a good NA though.
