UFC 94 GSP vs Penn **may contain spoilers**

The first to take it to the ground is a pussy. :D

That was a very good fight and total respect to both guys. A great stand up fight that was not numbed with ground/guard action.

I thought the Coleman v Rua fight was an embarrassment, Coleman is one trim looking guy but he ran out of gas far to quick! It was almost like he did not do any preparation for the fight (even taking has absence into consideration)

You don't like the ground game then? I love it. Obviously there's a lot a skill/technique in the submissions and seeing somebody get a real pasting is always interesting, if difficult to watch sometimes.

I like all aspects of it to be honest, like you said the skill and technique used to submit and also good old ground & pound. What I dislike is when the fighters just lie there in full or half guard and nothing really happens.

However I do like a good toe to toe action. It is a pity that UFC is now only on PPV as I would like to get into it a lot more and there is only so much (that I know of) you can get off the net.

In the UFC? Dunno who you mean.

Liddell? He's shot now. He was good but well over the hill now. Been "to the well" too many times IMO.

I second that.

I want Penn to win, If anyone can beat GSP I'm sure he can. Both are great standing and on the mat but I do think GSP has more in the gas tank.

It's another great card too, Machida Vs Silva will be another cracker as will the Stephan Bonnar bout.

I thought UFC 93 was a bit dire though, the 1st fight was great but it quickly went downhill IMO.

Did anyone catch the Arlovski Vs Emelianenko fight last week?;)

Was that the M1 fight? The big bear like guy with the beard? Cracking fight that was, watched it in a sports bar in International Drive. Great experience, they really love their MMA fights over there. Even the wife enjoyed the atmosphere.

Aye, Arlovski looks like a beggar from Sauchiehall St and Emelianenko is the big fat bald one :D

It was under Affliction - Day Of Reckoning. I'd love to go to an event like that.

Yeah thats the one. It was a cracking card. Think we saw about 90% of it. All really good fights with really good fighters.
