ClaireRZ-S
Hey Guys i thinking of upgrading the front speakers asthey are not great. I think the size i need is 4" just wondering what you have and what you think is the best? Also what speakers will fit in the normal brackets. Thanks in advance
Fitz
I know alot of people have upgraded their front speakers to 17" or somewhere along those lines. You need to get a custom bracket for it though. As far as I'm aware 4" is the correct size. I'll be looking to upgrade my front's soon too. (Maybe 4" Pioneer's?) So I'd also like to see what people recommend.

Please tell me you mean 17cm I've got some Planet Audio ones in mine, at 17cm - and they're a huge improvement, they're running off an amp too, which helps. TRACIE_LOU
if you buy 4inch speakers they will be direct fit will have to remove door card to get to them as grill wont come off without breaking it as i discovered lol,i went 17cm ones since i broke the grills have to make up a bracket theres a thread here somewhere with a template you can print off

AndrewOW
I have a nice pair of Rainbow's, with tweeter components in the doors. They sound fantastic IMO. 153mm (6") IIRC.
bigbloodyturbo
I had 4" pioneer 1070's then removed them for 4" pioneer 1076's with teflon cones and the sound is improved with more bass and a little more clarity. They fit fine but they are 4 screw fitment rather than the stock 3 screw arrangement. I would recommend them if you just listen to music casually and dont like having your ears bleed. Not too keen on a lenghty journey for speaker fitment (especially before my new wheels and tyres go on )
