Wez
Hey All, I received my Bosch fuel regulator today and wondered if people knew what sizes the ports are. I am also looking for a mount of some type, any ideas? As it came with no instructions I am also going to have a guess on the ports, please correct me if I am wrong Top: manifold pressire Left : back to tank Right : pressure sensor/gauge Bottom : return from rail
Homer
Which model is it Wez? There's some details here with sizes on, but they don't look quite the same as your one: http://www.bosch-motorsport.com/content/language2/html/2829.htm
Wez
Interesting, this only has two markings on it 452 & P26, maybe IP26

Chris Wilson
It's a TRD one, made by Bosch for them I think. Top quality, I use these myself. Ports as Bondago rightly says. Top port is also the lock nutted adjuster for static pressure. Ports are -6 -8 and -3 (or is it -4, it's -3 I think from memory?) You can cap the gauge port if you don't need it. Wez
Chris, how do you mount them, is there a clamp or something available?
Chris Wilson
You'll have to make a bracket or have a very short hose to the rail, and hang it on the aeroquip, if there's room.
Wez
Does anyone do a -6 adapter to fit where the stock fuel regulator sits in the rail?
bondango
Wez, TBH there aint much room there to do anything unless running an after market intake manifold. Maybe easier to modify the rail by cutting/drilling/tapping and fitting a -6an to the end, and tapping/bunging the OE regulator hole

bondango
off the top of my head, Original bango at rear of rail is replaced with m12x1.25 to -6an adapter, and Fuel filter end is also m12x1.25 -6an adapter, then make up your -6an line

bondango
no pics that show it in any detail matey but .. Removed original banjo bolt from feed end of rail, This is replaced with a M12x1.25 to -6AN fitting. Fuel filter outlet fitted with a M12x1.25 to -6AN fitting. Then make up a Fuel line to run between the rail and filter, 90 degree female 6AN fitting at rail side, straight 6AN at filter side. Stock Regulator hole, tapped and fitted with fine thread bolt + copper crush washer (cant remember what size I tapped too). End of rail was Drilled through then tapped. Fitted with M12 x -6AN fitting. Basically the Fitting depends on the size you drill and tap too 6AN fuel line to regulator, 90 degree fitting at rail side so line can be run under throttle housing easily.
