Tricky-Ricky
Just how long would you expect a fairly new battery (one year old) to hold its charge for if the car is not used very often, i seem to get away with a week but much longer and its too flat to start, thats from a full charge. merckx
I get about five or six weeks, obviously dependent on alarm current drain . Edited January 26, 2009 by merckx (see edit history)

Aero-M
Mine still has the japanese battery on, I hadn't started it or driven for about 4 weeks and it started easily, I so expected it to be dead, The Clifford led was flashing the whole time it wasn't used. Tricky-Ricky
Well i sent two emails to this company, and they haven't bothered to reply, so much for customer service! next stop the manufacturer. They are http://www.performancebatteries.co.uk/find_battery/cars also Battery Megastore, should you want to avoid them.
Branners
Each alarm system behaves differently. The UK spec alarm would drain a big battery in about a month, but when I changed to a Toad alarm it lasted months. So get the alarm checked out. snake
I have a spare battery, as it will drain it in about two weeks if not driven.
Axle
I have a spare battery, as it will drain it in about two weeks if not driven. A firend of mine bought me a Halfrauds calcium battery on his trader card for about £44. It sat for 3 weeks and started fine last night.

Its not down to the alarm, checked that, very low current draw, been on the car three years with no problems, there is nothing that can account for the problem bar the battery really, charging is fine etc. I have now given it a full charge, will just have to see how it behaves, and take it from there.
