d-_-b
Would an airlock in the system cause the temp meter to rise then fall (after a load of noise coming from behind the passenger side dash)? Blowers will be cold, then after the noise go to temp they should be. Have read other posts about airlocks in the system, and seems to be similar effects caused from airlocks, just thought i would see if this is what everyone thinks this is what could be the cause. Scoboblio
Sounds like an airlock to me. Is the noise from behind the dash like running water?
paul mac
i have had the coolant out of my car numerous times for different jobs, the supra is not a car that suffers from air locks and is probably the most straight forward car i have ever had for refilling the coolant system
megawatts
Eh NO, the one thing it does get IS airlocks. You need to get the front end up well at a good angle, up a ramp, or good incline, take rad cap off, squeeze the lower hoses, and run the engine to bubble off airlocks. See else where

gsportcars
Hot and cold readings from the gauge seems like air in the system. What kind of noise and please explain what you mean about the blowers.... Have you checked the level in the rad cap while the engine is warming? Make sure your resovior bottle also has enough fluid.
