JamieP
How harsh are they? do they soak up the bumps on our crappy roads or is it hit one bump and car takes off? I have Superstreets now which are great on the street but to soft on track.

JamieP
Id rather just buy a kit tbh, just dont want anything to harsh as the car is 99% a street car and will only do a couple of track days a year.
Kopite
Got the Tein Flex on mine JP, find it just right for me. Not too firm a ride (i like firm rides though so depends what you're after really), car does take off on some bumps but nothing unexpected. A lot of people who drove my car always liked the handling of it (before i changed wheels and i still need to get the alignment done...) supragold
I have mono flex on mine buddy. I dont find it harsh at all but its all personal preference. I live in Hertfordshire now and the roads there are absolutley crap. Infact, only last week i hit a pot-hole in my van and buckled the wheel. Thats how bad they are lol. Got that to claim for now but anyways I wouldn't say my car takes off at all. Infact i think its a great suspension.

Matt H
Got them on mine, altough i can only comment limitedly on them obviously. They do feel good on road, not sure about track though, no experiance.
jevansio
I got the RSR Coilover kit from Gaz & I'm over the moon with them, fully adjustable, are perfect even on bumpy country roads on the softest setting, and are very harsh on the hardest setting. Ride height is also adjustable without messing with spring rates as the entire shocker body extends
DAT Inter
Im runing the HSD Coilovers from Driftworks and Envy. Love em to bits. Ive used Cusco, Tein and K-Sport in the past and the HSDs win imo.

lockys96
i have them on my mr2, i havent touched the settings, but they are quite rock solid, from a drivers view its not harsh ride, i dont think my car rolls into corners with these
DamanC
Flex whore here. Its a 'bumpy' ride even on the softest setting. I noticed more of a bumpy ride when changing from 17" wheels to 18" though.

Kirk
i dont understand the need for full set of coilovers... why not just just get some softer or firmer springs, depending on what you prefer, and get a nice set of billys to match or have your old ones refurbed?? Wez
i dont understand the need for full set of coilovers... The stock suspension is coilover
Kirk
well yeah i know but i mean why you need to pay thousands for something that isnt realy needed on a street car??
