As said already once you hit standing water and started aquaplaning on a bend there was nothing you could have done to save it. I had a crash in my first supra and it ended up on its roof and like you am lucky to tell the tale. The only difference I was fully comp so basically got me money back. Sorry if this seems im rubbing your nose in it, far from it. Just highlighting that altho it cost more it is well worth going fully comp. Hitting standing water can really catch you out. I'm always so very very cautious if in the unlikely event I'm out in the rain whilst driving the Supra. .
