Homer
IMO Blitz DBC ID colour version, I have it and its a real good unit in every way. Another recomendation for the Blitz, although I used the SBC-ID III, they are very reliable and very easy to configure. The AVC-R is not as nice a unit, it's bulky and the interface is not as user friendly.

DAT Inter
£200 for an AEM Tru-Boost. Does ur boost controlling and monitoring in one. Fits nicely in the clocks space as well. Gets my vote as its a piece if piss to use.

Gets my vote as its a piece if piss to use. AEM Tru boost are not that great and have relatively few config options, it's a pretty basic boost controller but then the price reflects that. It can be made to work, but it's far from the best options out there.

Duffman
Do you need to run a BC if your BPU? You need to if you want to be able to control the boost your cars running at. Don't think you 'need' one though

bigbloodyturbo
AEM truboost here and its a really nice bit of kit. If you've gone single and are running lots and lots of boost with huge injectors and have generally dropped a lot of money on your car then its maybe not for you, but for BPU I have found ot very nice and easy to install and use. It also works as a boost gauge with easily useable settings and it fits in the clock space. I intend to program the wastegate spring pressure in to it soon but I haven't yet so I cant comment on that feature but easily worth the money overall with no complaints.
