jawan Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 Hi, I refurbed master cylinder, but when trying to bleed there is no pressure, can't get the fluid to move , any ideas. is it too much air in the system causing this or air has gone in abs systems. Tricky-Ricky Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 Are you sure you refitted all the seals O rings the correct way, and lubricated it all with brake fluid on assembly, always pays to prime with a little fluid before refitting. jawan Posted January 23, 2009 Author Share Posted January 23, 2009 sorry whats o ring, i presume thats the lock ring. I fitted the small bolt first then the two half of kit and then end locked it with a metal ring. I am not getting any pressure at all. Before doing this brakes (uk) were slightly spongy but did work. Tricky-Ricky Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 Sorry no O ring on the Supra kit, sounds like you may have damaged one of the seals when you installed, when you tested it did you pour some fluid into the reservoir/or both feeds, if it was removed? and did it pump OK from both outlets?
