Scoboblio
I've no idea how it works, but fast ford magazine did a feature on them a while ago and they were strangely accurate Well the 0-60 timing etc was good - not too sure about the BHP calculation though. GeordieSteve
You input the weight of the car etc. and it does lots of fancy calculations. They DO work. I've just sold about 30 of these things
SupraStar 3000
that must be a scam! BHP and MPH from your cigarette lighter!

koolance
ive got one ,,, id say there accurate 0-60 and 1/4mile time,,,we tried it only 4 different cars all giving very close readings
damouk
Ok, i think he is just (almost as we speak) gonna buy one
imi
that must be a scam! BHP and MPH from your cigarette lighter! I used to have the more expensive Competition version and IT DOES WORK They actually have G-sensors and meters, so when your car accelerates it can calculate the acceleration and then based on the weight that you have inputted the HP and Torque figures of the car. very handy for 1/4 mile, 0-60 stints etc too. plus the competition model also draws up a nice graph of your power and torque curves (similar to a dyno) Not 100% accurate, but good enough. Forgot to mention, using the electric current from the cigarette lighter, it also senses the RPM of your car

Guest Terry S
Steve can you enter weight etc on these little ones??
GeordieSteve
Yep. You do it by tilting it backward for more weight and foreward for less. Still haven't tried mine yet but I will do very soon. Be able to match it up with my RR results next week
JustGav
Both CJ and myself have the SS spec version of the unit, and I have directly compared it the rolling road and needless to say it is fairly accurate.. The figures where within 10%, bear in mind we were estimating the car weight. I've tried mine on 4 different cars and it seems fairly accurate...
