Gaz6002
On channel 4 now: Link Pretty eye opening. Makes you realise just how important the media can be IMO (although I'm a tiny bit biased). Some shocking videos and pictures in this - very harrowing.
n boost
Am watching it at the moment and yes all this censored business is not on. They show you what they want to create whatever image they want to. News should be uncensored in this so called free world we live in and shown as it comes in and not what the media/gov't want you to see. I can understand that very distressing images can upset people but it is what is happening to them poor people and causing them people alot more hurt, pain, suffereing and distress than any of us can imagine by Israel who are continously trying to make excuses and cover ups.. Homer
I've not watched this one yet, but there was a 20 minutes feature on BBC 24 a couple of days ago that was really shocking. One of their reporters and a cameraman made their way through Gaza the day after the Israelis withdrew, it was incredible that entire villages and towns had been bulldozed, people rounded up into buildings then the building shelled. I still find it hard to sympathise with the people of Gaza after they voted in Hamas, but the Israelis were clearly up to much more than just trying to remove the missile threat. Some of the graffiti the soilders left on the walls told the real story and feelings they had when there.
imi
I still find it hard to sympathise with the people of Gaza after they voted in Hamas. Its their democratically elected government; their choice, just because some people might not agree with them doesn't give us the right to impose our rules over them or else kill them. I found it quite interesting too....just goes to show that it isnt journalism anymore where they simply report what IS happening; they are interfering with the news to cater for their demographic audience with their own interest and agendas. My personal opinion - certainly sanitize the news before the watershed, after that, report it as is - else DONT BOTHER. anyway, with access to the internet, people have access to all sorts of information, like John snow said towards the end, the biggest loser of all of this is the TRUTH. bolarbag
If its that shocking why not just turn it over? I dont remember a time when I've ever seen a kid request to watch the news anyway so who are they trying to shield? The video of the baby was shocking, regardless who is at fault, I wouldnt be suprised if the poor guy who's family it was strapped a bomb to his back or requested he pulled the trigger of the rockets that are firing back at Israel Their both terrorists in my opinion

Their both terrorists in my opinion Agree with your last comment though....both sides are terrorists in a particular context to a certain extent : one more than that other, one much better equipped than the other, one much better funded than the other, one that enjoys unequivocal support from the powers to be. AndrewOW
A bit of stealthy Gazan ethnic cleansing, perhaps? Atrocious.

Carl_S
Well Hitler was voted in by the Germans, therefore we saw all Germans as guilty and legitimate targets and bomber Harris was a war hero and not a war criminal. Dresden was not just talking out military targets either. Palestine is Germany in a new past.

Carl_S
War is hell right? That's why cilvilians die alongside military targets. Nazis and Hamas there are paralells.

Pot
True Pot, but I am naturally evasive with certain questions. I'm not obliged to answer them am I? You're right, you don't have to... And you'll then respect when some of us decide not to be naturally evasive but think some answers are totally bonkers and worthless?
