gordy07
Does anyone have gauges in their NA as i fancy a gauge pillar and when i become TT i realise this is more important. But could i use additional gauges just now?
Lbm
You could intsall a boost gauge...and think 'Ahhh...one day!'
merckx
The oil temp gauge is useful.

Lbm
The oil temp gauge is useful. I agree with that To be fair, he has the correct colour for the supra
Homer
Oil temp and oil pressure would be good ones that are useful when moving to a TT. They are pretty much useless on an NA as it's almost unheard of for an NA to have any sort of issue. They would be good gauges to have once you get to BPU power levels. Wez
A wideband would be good if you plan to single later. I dont think anyone has run a wideband on an NA, would be interesting to see what the fueling is like.
w41k3r
what size is the clock in the supra mines broke, im thinking of replacing it with a gauge might just put a volt gauge in there also could you use an air\fuel ratio gauge or is it pointless on a n\a. will a 52mm fit any other gauges worth putting there???????? Dazzi
Here is a quick shot of mine (sorry for the bad pic) http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v1930/204/65/615361311/n615361311_1341513_6860.jpg Oil temp, oil pressure and water temp in the glove box pod. On the dash AFR and exhaust gas temp.
w41k3r
now that looks HOTT i wouldnt mind having mine like that. Are all the gauges in use are the gauges hard work to install or are they relativley simple thanks dazzi
Dazzi
Yep all gauges in use. Oil temp and pressure are installed via a sandwich plate under the oil filter. The water temp gauge it fitted on the top rad pipe via sensor adaptor (basically a metal tube with a threaded hole). The exhaust gas temperature sensor its installed into the 1st cat where the oem sensor was. And finally, the AFR gauge its screwed into a boss fitted in the 2nd decat. On idle the AFR is about 14.8 and WOT ranges between 11-13 depending on weather conditions. The clock hole is 52mm btw so will accept all 52mm gauges. The fan hole is 60mm IIRC. I had to use a ring to install a 52mm gauge into this hole. HTH

w41k3r
thanks for the info dazzi, you know your gauges on the passanger side did you buy that of ebay. Ive seen one for £100 is that about right? but i want to keep them 52mm but it says for 60mm is there anywhere you know of that does them for 52mm`s(there cheaper lol)
Dazzi
Gauges on the right are Glowshift digital gauges. They have an ebay shop and website http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/GlowShift-International-Store_Blue-Digital-Series_W0QQ_fsubZ129519011QQ_sidZ40585621QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em322. The gauges vary from £30-£60 depending what job they do. Some will probably say you get what you pay for but these gauges have been great. I got them mainly because they were digital - any fluctuations appear immediately. The only problem I did have, which was unrelated to these gauges is the oil sandwich plate slightly drips. I've taken it off since but haven't found a suitable replacement.
