Just started the ball rolling on converting my engine to VVTi.

I already have a VVTi block in the car so that makes life a tad easier in that department.

Now from what I can tell the main problem when running the VVTi on big power cars is the lack of off the shelf "race" camshaft profiles available. All thats available is HKS offering them in 264. So I'm going to expense of having a one off billet inlet cam made to my own spec all installed in one of my big valve cylinder heads. From what I can see other cars running VVT on just the inlet side have some big gains, so I'm hoping for more bhp/torque across the rev range and hopefully a bigger power band to. Its going to be a few months in the making this one so you will have to sit tight waiting for the results.

That's present on a normal block mate. It's where the oil pressure sensor would normally be; the sensor is moved to the oil filter housing on a VVTi.:)

In that case I'm talking shit then!

Yup, on mine we moved it.. see here for the bolt mod
