DodgyRog
I have spent last couple of hours going through various thread's and found different sizes/codes. Can someone just confirm which one is correct for a 1995 N/A manual. I think both codes are for Gates auxiliary belts 6PK1940 6PK1938 My last belt is a gates and is coded 68441, which is apparently a wrong belt. The other thing I want to check, is I have seen a couple of mentions of markers/goal posts, at the top of the tensioner. Can someone explain how the markings should line up. I have got a quiet squeak (annoying as hell), so am going to change the belt, I have checked the crank pulley and it seems okay (fingers crossed), so I think the belt might be to long so the tensioner is strugling to keep tension. I have WDed the spin points of all the pulleys and checked they all turn freely. Cheers in advance, will check back on and off while watching footie;)

DodgyRog
This link should help (there is a further link in this one too) Thanks Scooter, that's the one I saw and couldn't find again about the markers. So that's that bit answered, any idea on belt size ?
DodgyRog
My marker is all the way over to the right, which would explain why it is sliping, even thou their is know sign of wear:rolleyes:
Scooter
I think the belt no's you listed are sort of a code where the 6 before the PK means it has 6 ridges (or it may be 6 grooves) and the 4 digits after are the total belt length in MM which would make the choice between the two insignificant. Scooter
http://www.gates.com/part_locator/index.cfm?location_id=3598 it didn't save my 'Supra' selection in this link but fill it in and the current gates item has a 1937mm length. DodgyRog
Many thanks Scooter, your help is much appreciated:cool: For future reference, a link to the correct Gates search site (Europe) and if you click on the camera (when you find the belt) it shows how to but the belt back on for those that may need it. https://www.gates-online.com/GatesEU/en/GB/adirect/gateu1?cmd=Automotivewebcat

Any decent motor factors should be able to get this for you:D
