JamieP
I want to lose some heat from under the bonnet but really dont want a fibreglass/carbon bonnet, ive seen a few vented stock bonnets from the likes of MattH and supramatt, i also remember Ibrar doing it but cant find a pic of his, anyone got one? or any other pics of vented stock bonnets? cheers:)

SteveR
Is this extra heat loss needed for your typical everyday driving or just for heavy track use mate?
JamieP
what about a uk spec bonnet that way you are still keeping the standard oem look, mine got uk spec bonnet on If i dont like anything else thats the plan, just dont think it will move enough air. Is this extra heat loss needed for your typical everyday driving or just for heavy track use mate? Its not really needed, i just like keeping things as cool as poss, car is going in to have the bits of bodyworkwork i want sorting on the 2nd feb and thinking of having this done at the same time. Paul372
If i dont like anything else thats the plan, just dont think it will move enough air. maybe you could mod it a little, and make it a little bit wider or something

JamieP
I like the way wayneys/Ibrars looks, i think it will give it an aggresive look to the front and match in well with the carbon diffuser thats coming.
supra_aero
I know you said stock bonnet but whats wrong with the TRD bonnet? Even I get the heat shimmer effect in traffic and I have a NA so I know its working from a cooling perspective. Presumably the genuine one is not fibreglass? Maybe someone can confirm. Fair play, if it was only an infrequent/temporary need I was going to suggest propping the bonnet up slightly at the back, Robbie reckoned that worked for him a while back. Its mainly a cosmetic thing im going for and the jacked up bonnets dont look the best, also everyone keeps telling you the bonnet aint shut:d

The Raven
Jamie its quite easy to do, remove the heat shield under the bonnet and it gives you a nice template to cut to, thats how i did mine.
jevansio
I've always wondered what a set of XKR bonnet vents would look like on the Supe. I'm not normally one for using bits from other cars, but they are soooo subtle & would serve a purpose
