Suspenion still knocking

Control arm upper inner bush(es). With wear the arm knocks slightly against the mount and sends the sound up through the rear of the chassis, which can be easily mistaken for a worn top mount.

 

This sounds very likely. Will check asap. Thanks mate!

 

quick Checklist :-

 

1. No loose tools etc etc in boot :blink:

2. Rear hatch rubbers

3. exhaust mounting

4. Electric Areil Mounting

5. Rear Strut Top mounts

6. Leaking or worn shock absorber

7. Loose/badly mounted coil Spring

8. Upper suspension Arm 2x inner bushes 1x outter ball joint

9. Lower suspension arm No.2 1x inner bush 1x outter bush 1xball joint

10. Lower suspension arm No.1x inner bush 1x outter ball joint

11. Strut Rod 1x ball joint

12 ARB drop links

13. ARB mounting Rubbers

14 Rear Subframe mounting Bolts (check torque)

15. rear diff mounting

right i've had a good look at everything today, as i said before i've had the strut etc stripped down to checked bump stops, shocks and everything has came back fine. i gave the whole hub a shake (big shake lol ) and couldn't hear anything. did the same with the exhaust.i've changed the droplinks also

 

i checked all the bushes even tryed to wedge some of them to see if there was any play, could'nt find nothing. i'm going to try torquing the subframe again, then i'll take it out a test drive 2moro from the lock up- if still the same then its onto the ball joints.

 

i have also emptied the boot of everything for the drive encase its somthing in there but i have tryed that before
