_Shane_
lads im sorry now if this comes across as total stupid but I got a fuel rail today (a present for the birthday etc) I have 880cc precision injectors here already and just want to know how to they fit the rail ? Is it just a matter of taking an injector from the box and plugging it into the base of the fuel rail ( is it that easy ) ??? if so these injectors wont stay put in the rail, hole at top seems bigger than the top of the injector Can upload pics if needed ? any input appreciated cheers shane
Kev.O
They should be a tight fit due to the 'o' ring, presuming the rail is designed to fit with the injectors. Here's how it should look:
_Shane_
The injectors came with little black plastic rings already attached to the top of them and with these on they wont go no where near the holes. With the rings taken off the injectors the top of the injector will go into the hole but will just fall back out the sec you take your hand away from holding it in place
Kev.O
The injectors aren't easy to push in. Try lubing the 'o' ring slightly, this should help.
_Shane_
The o ring on the injector top is wider than the feed on the fuel rail
Kev.O
Quality pictures They need to be liquid tight so I would expect them to be a nightmare to push in

heckler
http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150318259037 a HKS copy rail... I have a HKS rail and greddy injectors - i used O-Rings of a MK3 supra. the injectors are a snug fit and under pressure, no leaks - well 3rd time lucky as i had forgot to put some rubber spacers (off a MK3 supra) in to help with the seal! bondango
Shane have you a picture of the Injector, PTE injectors come in lots of different styles of top feed. You need a Lucas/denso type injector for that rail, the injector in the picture looks from what i can see like a rochester/seimens style injector which needs a different rail. michel lane
your injector collers are different to the ones the hks copy rail provides, you need the BL /SP collers for those injectors to fit your lower intake. The Hks /copy rails require JDM injectors and not US versions .
