paul mac Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 One thing im worried about is the numberplate mounting, there's nowt except a few mm lip in the numberplate cut out to mount it, suppose if i get one that fits perfect or i cut one down, i could bont it onto that little lip i had an issue like this on mine as its a j-spec bumper with the bigger hole and i wanted to use the smaller plate with the bike size lettering that you can get away with on a j-spec i had very little to fasten to, i soughted it with a piece of 3mm thick ally that was about 50mm longer either side than the hole, i araldited it in from the rear then used the sticky pads you can get for number plates rather than the plastic screws, once the number plate is on it sandwich's it all together even if the araldite should fail, from memory the plate was about 80-100mm wide Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
