spiderpigcity Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 any solutions to jacking up my car without damaging the side skirts. i have veilside kit and low shock settings. any ideas. do i need to machine an aluminium block with a slot in it or something. Tricky-Ricky Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 (edited) The method i use for jacking the front, (my Supra also has low body kit) is to put a brick or lump of wood under both front wheels and drive up onto them, this gives me enough clearance to slide a jack under the front sub frame. SupraD06 Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 Not sure how low your car is, but i have veilside skirts on mine and my car has been lowered quite abit, and the stock jack opens past its widest part just before touching the skirts, then as you keep jacking it up it getts further away.
