TNT
Was looking around Hollngworths in Kidderminster today and saw this, absolutely stunning, got me thinking, with a similar arrangement at the rear, would a Supra work as a convertible? Also a stunning R34 for £25K http://www.midland-ferrari.co.uk/bigpic.asp?id=664&img=

tooquicktostop
That is not a good look at all for the Jag, you have to keep the classic lines IMO then increase the power (at your own risk !!)

DannoSupra
Were the old ones really that bad? They werent the best After 2003 they made changes to the XJS Rear Suspension and fitted Macphearson Struts! They new 4.2 V8 was miles better along with the new ZF 6Speed But they still had older electrics, which isnt always good!! Not in Jaguar's Case! About time they moved on with the new XK, i mean the Stype developed much faster and that was a fast production car!

The XK never had XJ-S rear suspension....... it was based on the XJ40 A-Frame type IRS

Interesting. The XKR is getting quite good value these days and I've been watching them for a few years. Could be a good everyday car if I ever strip the Supra for trackdays only. Im sure we had one in work few months ago. Black one with Recaro's, Had XK 100 on the Sill Covers --- If you are looking to buy Gaz, get a 2003MY onwards one with Brembo's if you can, the stock single pots tend to seize. and theyre no cheap!
