Right then. I've just had a Blitz super sound dump valve fitted, it sounds real good, but it sounds even better when the bonnets up. So this leads to the obvious decision of buying a bonnet with vents in :D (a good excuse i reckon). Does anyone know whether its better to buy the whole bonnet, or get a bodyshop to cut the holes in? If its better to get a bonnet wheres the best place to get one from? Cheers peeps

yep took the soundproofing off today. Sounds fantastic now. Still might get a nice slotted bonnet though. Cheers keef, i thought it was all stuck on as well as the clips. Easy to remove. Clips were a bit of a bstard though

yea some of mine snapped, but does make a difference!

Guys' date=' that 'soundproofing' is also a fire blanket designed so that the plastic clips melt and it drops down in the event.[/quote']

I wondered about that. Guess ill have to get the bonnet vents cut in pretty sharpish and put the proofing back on
