fruity_south
just started looking at my relocation kit, i had bought a spare oil filter but the thread on the filter is a little smaller then the thread to mount it, i googled a little and most relocation kits say need to use a toyota corrolla oil filter, is this right? has the corrolla got a slightly bigger thread. just wanna make sure i get the right one before doin the job this weekend. D8MOA
all toyota's use the same thread (to my knowlage). is the filter you have for your supra a OEM filter or pattern?

bodilx6
The set I bought was designed to fit the supra, but the filter was supposed to be 20mm. I don't remember it that is smaller or larger than the stock supra one, but I was reccomended to use a Mitsubishi filter since they usually run 20mm. Also I would suggest that you use a larger filter than a corolla. Just thinking that the 2jz is probably running more oil through the filter than a 1.3 corolla... I bought a filter for a 3 litre Pajero i think. I never got the kit fittet though, but thats another story. The filter fit the kit though. fruity_south
thqanks for that. im heading over to my mates shop 2moro, and we are going to sit and go through some to see which one is best. thanks for suggesting getting the larger one, that would of been something i wouldnt of thought of and i would of ended up getting a smaller one to save room.
