merckx
Some of it might be worth watching. Tiff Needell casts his eye over the new Porsche 911 and Olympic swimmer Mark Foster tries out a Vauxhall VXR8.

Aero-M
The new 911 didn't look much different, apart from those stupid led lights in the front bumper. Did any one else think the look trash?

jevansio
Must say I prefer Plato, Needel, & Henderson over the 3 muppets on TG, it's the other 3 numpties on 5th Gear that let the show down

merckx
Thats a good figure! I don't think he's disputing that , just the boring and pointless bit of the programme which demonstrated the fuel efficiency of a Porsche!
AndrewOW
So you wouldnt have a turbo one? Yeah they might be great driver's cars, but I just think they are so boring to look at, and they sound like a beefed up Beetle IMO.

Alex
Indeed good to see you can get respectable mpg but it was a yawn to watch. Fwiw, in the US there is a target for new cars to hit 35mpg or the manufacturers get a fine proportional to their level of failure to hit the target. Mercedes got the biggest fine last year shock horror, due to having so many cars in it's range with thirsty engines.
