i have a noise that sounds like there is something catching on my drivers side front or rear not sure, but it is on and off not all the time. its not the wear indicator as ive got loads left on the pads. also wen you brake it will not make the noise. stripped them down a week ago and its bin fine but now its back any ideas?

I had that problem! It only made a noise at certain times like when i turned right or something! Turned out to be one of the clips that holds the pads in place had moved or bent and was touching the disk! Pull your wheels and pads off and just look down at the clips to see if any of them make contact with the disc. One of the clips on my drivers side front was making contact so I just pulled the holder off and grinded the metal clip down a few mm until it was clear. It hasn't done it since!

Hope that helps

I've also had the exact same problem. Make sure you check all the clips including the ones that go on the other side of the disc. Sometimes you can get away with bending it back rather than grinding it down. That said mine had to be grinded to stop the noise.
