Please help power cutting out

Hi if any1 can help with this I would be really grateful. driving along fine but at completly random times whilst turning right I loose engine, the car just stalls no fuss or noise just stops, I still have electrics an the dash lights up etc. Has happened twice at a junction an also on a roundabout. I have the Uk auto.

i have had something happen like that to me last week it was on a cold morning just started her up and noticed it was juddering slightly so just went to set off and as i went to pull out of a junction lost all power, but then came back and has run fine ever sins strange....

 

Was it a cold day Brazen ??

Mine was doin this for ages although mines a manual, coming up to junctions upon braking it would jus cut out, read a few threads sayin keep it in gear and it won`t do it anyway in the end it got worse and started tripping out.

If i indicated it would cut out go over a bump cut out ect ect, anyway what had happend on close inspection wa someone had changed the battery to a slightly smaller 1 and the terminal had worked loose even though it was the tightist it would go so after i sorted that its never been a problem maybe have a look.
