Dash Rendar
Oh, so very disappointing. I've just caught up, and they're not hybrids from mkiv stockers at all? So 95% of this entire debate has been based on completely false information. Bummer.
L33
even if this car does make the power, its stil not standard or hybrid turbos as it says so no appoligies needed?

JustGav
This is turning into a brilliant thread.... I've not got involved as I'm just waiting for the results. A pic of the engine bay esp the manifold section would be great.

supra10000
does it frigging matter where they came from. so far this argument has gone from you cant get that sort of power out of hybids in stock casing, then too cost, then to any point in doing it, and now you say they are from another car so it doesnt count...sounds like your doubting yourself now and finding summit else to pick at ???? Just get a few top down shots, that would be a nice start Perhaps one from the driver side aimed down at say 60 degrees.
supra10000
If it gets to 600+ we will be leaving it at that setting and the tuner will warantee the engine for me as he is so dam confident but will probably add cams if needed which again he will cover the cost as hes loving this as much as i am Edited January 13, 2009 by supra10000 (see edit history)
Animal
I want neither your apoligy or your apology, ill have nothing to do with you now. Stomps off in a huff, slamming the door Rob will have my first apoligy then.. But if im right ???? If you're right, my friend, hell has indeed frozen overthen you'll get an apology off most of the folks in here I imagine. Sorry if I came across a tad critical, but most of the debate has been based around the supposition that it's possible to make 500-650 bhp out of hybrid turbos. But these are not hybrid turbos, at least not by any normal or conventional definitions of the term. So the argument is mute. On the other hand, this seems to the be the first time we've seen you agitated! You were doing so well, so ratchet back to cool-confidence and you'll always be remembered as unshakable and calm under pressure.
Lee P
alpqz Its an RZ, anyway back on topic If the turbos can flow "theoreticly" 300hp each you would have to run them at max efficiency to reach the said 300hp. Thats "if" the manifold and down pipes can accommodate this, which they cant. My turbos can flow 410 bhp each but that doesnt mean my car can run 820hp and HKS are very conservative with their figures. My car is also running the downpipes and manifold to match so no restriction. Just because they "say" the turbos will flow a said amount it doesnt mean they will in this application. Lots of people on here have run the hybrids and have dyno print outs to confirm the results. When you have yours you can coment. Lee

Lee Cheers for the model info and yes the print will say it all but i think if its over 500 we still done dam well so 550 + be amazing and i really hope this guy is right about the 600. Then maybe he will be very busy after this
