Havard
Pfft.... When I did my back garden I moved 12 tons of rubble and soil from the back of the house to the front in a gorilla bucket..... Once I'd got finished I then had to put 10 tons of sand, block paving and flags round the back. All this was taken through an 18" gap between my extension and my fence...!! I will never do anything like that again! H.

Chris Wilson
The elderly gentleman at our local farm feeds place is a sprightly 68 years young, and I asked him a few months ago how much weight, in terms of sacks of feed he shifts by hand a week. He said he averages 10 ton a day, 5 days a week. I wouldn't argue with him, that's for sure, and, like anyone that's done a job for 40 odd years, he makes it look so effortless, not a single wasted movement. Havard
that must have took ages? I was not good. There is an alleyway round the back of my house that tapers to an 18" gap and gate. It probably took e about 3 weeks in all..... Filled 2 x 8 yard skips to the brim!! H.
