RiceRocket
Yeah right, so alien spacecraft can navigate millions/billions miles of space dodging stars/planets/asteroids/spacial anomalies but then arrive on Earth and they prang a glorified windmill! AndrewOW
UFO An object that's flying that nobody could identify. It doesn't have to be a spaceship, could have been a brick with a mask on. Bloody huge brick then! It would have to be at least 170ft long. Getting that amount of material for its disguise would've been a nightmare I'd thought! No wonder 'it' nearly crashed

Homer
The explaination that it was likely a chuck of ice from the turbine infront of it seems to be the most sensible explaination for it so far
Carl_S
It's fun and interesting to believe in the possibility of something greater than ourselves to help us look beyond our everyday lives or just to have a bit of light hearted fun. Rice Rocket makes a good point. Then again, there is a possibilty that there are tons and tons of super aliens flying about all the time, of course they are so clever that most of them are invisible (a good excuse to you if you are with a partner and do a silent fart) but the odd one that are either a bit dumb, or their batteries run out, or just that they are so disappointed that when they get to the earth that they just think "bugger this, I was expecting a better holiday destination that this" and just crash. Maybe that windturbine crash was like a back to the future thing where the car sped into that billboard and then disappeared after: the ufo was just going back home. Or it could have been a a windmill shaped alien that wanted to mate with one of our windmills, his last though before crashing into it was "cor blimey look at the size of the blades on that, I'm gonna get me a bit of that", or in his language "01010100100110 01010 0101001 01010 010101000001010100101101110011 101 101011010100000101011"

Scott
It's fun and interesting to believe in the possibility of something greater than ourselves to help us look beyond our everyday lives or just to have a bit of light hearted fun.......... Slightly askew from the subject at hand, i think its blindingly naive to think otherwise to be honest. Look at what we know about the universe, and we know nothing in the grand scale of it, how can anyone think that we are the sole life? We are all very self involved, not in a selfish way, we just can't see the big picture. In my opinion noone really can. Everynow and again my mind wanders and i start thinking about it all, i blow myself away. Its absolutely mind boggling to think what could potentially be out there and that we are living proof that it probably is... somewhere. Back to the subject at hand, i love the idea of a UFO causing it but as Homer says, more than likely ice I love the x-files me
