Marc
which cams would be best suitable for a bpu ++ ? do i need a piggy back ecu to run these? wot are the gains?
Nic
intake 256°/exhaust 264° is the popular choice at BPU levels. You don't 'need' an aftermarket ecu, but it would help get the best out of them. The cams will give more mid range, top end power at the expensive of a little less response low down (not a bit effect). With an aftermarket ECU I'd guess around 20ish hp increase. Worth doing if you want to get the best out of the stock turbos, but not cheap.
bigbloodyturbo
what sort of price for a new set of HKS cams in the duration you mentioned nic? (if they're still available) -edit- also, do they change the lift, wouldn't fancy them if they stopped the JZ from being a non interference, just incase;)
kylestt
upgraded cams at the BPU level to me, are a waste of money. Thats alot of coin for minimal hp gains. Its not until your single that you truely start seeing gains of the cam upgrades and even then, its expensive for the hp gains.
