Gaz6002
That ad reads more like a WIP post (saying thanks to his mate for getting the paint right). I can't say it's the best metro I've seen but would probably make a good car for someone...

Benjy
front end looks like a bit of a dogs dinner, and has the aerodyamnics of a brick (although 280bhp+ in a shoebox with wheels is more than adequate) but I bet it goes like stink! Gaz Walker
The front end needs work. A lot of work.
GazB
Looks a fun track day car. Can't say that i'd sooner be seen in that than the Supra though even if his mate hasn't picked his nose in it

danhicks22
there is NOTHING that gets the looks like this car Do you think that's because it looks ****ing ridiculous? Would be quite good fun to drive though I imagine.

colsoop
Could have mounted the engine it in the right place. I think for the money there are much better fun weekend cars.
Ryan.G
Its an amusing ad isn't it But could be good fun if done properly
James
I like 6R4s, but that looks more like a Pug 205 that crashed into a Clio V6 and Halfords rebuilt them blended, and badly. :\ Sorry, anyway...not for me that one.
Guest dangerousandy
I had a MG Metro Turbo a couple of years back. I bought it unseen for £250 as I was going to use the engine in the Mini I had.......... But when I went to collect the Metro I realised it was a very rare Tickford Metro Turbo! I wrote a letter to Classic Car's Magazine (which got published too!) and subsequently sold it back on exactly as I bought it (see photo) for £1500! that was the best Metro ever in my eyes! She is still about...anyone seen her? Its Silver now according to the vehicle search feature on Autotrader.co.uk The reg is FBR 302Y
steady_dave
Can't view E-bay at work but i'm hearing metro flung about so i'm guessing it's an ad for a 6R4? If it is they're absolute rocket's!
