Gaz Walker
The only film to ever make me shed real man tears was The Green Mile. First time I seen it was a few weeks after my grandad died so that probably didn't help. Probably best to avoid the movies in this list then Its No. 2 on there I see Gaz. RedM
I cried while watching a porn film the other day. The realisation that I am probably too old, too chubby, too ugly to get to do two chicks at the same time was too much for me

SilverSoop
I got a bit emotional when the dog dies in Turner and Hooch...very sad... You can almost feel Tom Hanks's pain when the dog dies... And in Saving private Ryan where Tom Hanks dies at the end...

And in Saving private Ryan where Tom Hanks dies at the end... What are you on about? My mum stopped the tape just before turner and hooch finished, we had to go out. She told me the dog survived and they all lived happily ever after. Next thing you will be telling me bambi's mum WASN'T resuscitated by space aliens. Scott
Can't even listen to 'Bright Eyes' without bawling over the Watership Down bunnies Watched I am Legend last week and cried at that too Vicki x Not meaning to spoil it for anyone but there is an alternative ending to I Am Legend. It pulls the movie to gether much better and shouts out the message of the movie rather than subtlely hinting at it. Have a look for it on youtube

Tannhauser
First ever film I remember that made me cry was 'One flew of the cuckoo's nest', the very end of the film. Haven't seen it in years so may give that another go. Good call. I watch it in connection with some stuff I do at work, so I've seen it a good 10-12 times and I never get tired of it. It's emotionally draining to watch. I find Clive Wearing's case tragic and the updated documentary on him (not this one) often upsets me. coZK-t7lbp8

Snooze
The that always does it for me, big time, is at #34 on that top 100 list - "Life is Beautiful" This Oscar-winning comedy plays the Holocaust for laughs, with Italian Jew Guido (Roberto Benigni) turning the horrific reality of a concentration camp into a vivid fantasy land in order to his shield his young son Joshua from the terrible truth. It's even worse now I have my own little boy. Just thinking about it is making me well up a bit now!
jamesmark
Is there a tear-jerking bit in Forrest Gump? Which part? FG is my favorite film of all time, the parts that get me are when Bubba snuffs it and also when he is talking to Jenny at her grave. TBH I get more upset at real life things. To see Muhammad Ali nowadays, that always brings a tear. Another one was back when Gerhard Berger was still driving in F1. At Monza (iirc) his car went off the track to the right, hit a barrier and burst into flames. He didn't/couldn't get out straight away and, for what felt like forever, it seemed like he was going to burn alive, right there on live TV. The real-life pathos of it was unbearable. This gets me also, I was emotional when Senna was killed.
