Jspec Germany
Hey everybody. Sorry I haven't been around for two weeks. Just got back from a trip to Sardenia. So, I'm paying SONID today via my bank, still waiting on the 2nd decat in the post, have the 320-click speedo, and now just need to sort the code 24 error and buy the delimiter. Mind you, I won't be keeping up with you big-single lot, but as I said before, I don't mind going ahead to film a high-speed procession. Carly (the wife) and I still need to get all the camping crap, and I can tell you from experience, you'd be surprised how much sh*t you can fit in a supra. Whitelightning
So how many of us are going ? (i.e number of cars ?) BTW - have ordered BT walkie talkies to match Faye's.
JohnK
4 of us in convoy from the UK, we then pick up J-Spec Germany close to the german border in Holland. Then on day 2 we *may* meet up with more people near hamburg, I think CJ has been in contact with them.
CJ
BTW - have ordered BT walkie talkies to match Faye's. So you are not going to need the ones that we had a lend of as freebies then?
Whitelightning
Hey, I needed some anyway, I will bring them all the same.
Marco
Anyone know what kind of electric plugs they're got in Denmark? I need to take a battery charger for my camera. Cheers -Marco-
JohnK
As far as i remember they are the same as the french / dutch ones
Marco
As far as i remember they are the same as the french / dutch ones You're right, I just looked it up online. Should have done that in first place... Cheers!
Marco
Another question (coudn't find it online) Do they have 98ron petrol in Denmark? Would it be advisable to take octane boost just incase there's only 95ron?
Jspec Germany
So you are not going to need the ones that we had a lend of as freebies then? Bring those freebies anyway, just in case I can't find mine or it isn't compatible. What's the range on the those BTW? I'm all paid up with SONID, so now just need to get my SLD ordered/delivered through THOR and get all my new goodies installed and the damn code 24 problem sorted, oh yeah, and buy a tent! Does anybody have a desire for German beer while we're there or in Muenster? I have access to good prices (lets just say), and could bring a case of 20 along if so desired. Let me know what label you prefer. I'm a beer lover so feel free to bring assorted brands from the U.K. if you like. My wife is especially fond of Caffrey's but we can never find it anywhere. While we're on the subject of booze, can anybody price a bottle of Burberry's London Dry Gin for me? My wife and I got turned onto it while drinking Martini's in Zurich but only have one bottle and haven't been able to find it anywhere. Thanks to all and can't wait to meet you in Venlo. JohnK
MFS - ive never had a problem getting 98 octane fuel in Denmark. J-spec - Unfortunatly I wont be bringing any beer as its too much space / weight I'll be taking a box of red wine to keep the other half quiet though When i'm there I will try and find somewhere that sells Carlsberg black gold - very very nice and i've never found it in the UK
JohnK
MFS - I forgot to add if your going thru Germany fill up on shell V-Power before you cross into Denmark, thats 100 octane.

I'll join you in your quest as I've never heard of it which means I have to sample the goods. I'll bring beer and a bottle no matter what. The wife's on a diet (not that I mind but she doesn't need to be) and isn't drinking though, but she loves Caffrey's so I have to do everything in my power to find it for her. The Burberry's is for the both of us when she's finished with the diet.
