JohnK
Also Dont forget to tell your insurance company - i'm with sky and Jae informs me that if you dont let them know the insurer automaticly reduces your cover to 3rd party. No cost involved with sky - just had to inform them.

JohnK
Yes, although you dont need a green card, you have to inform your insurer as most will default to their minimum legal responsibility when driving in europe which is 3rd party only. Jspec Germany
Howdy boys. I'm in the good ole' U.S. of A for an exercise with the Navy. Went to Reno and Lake Tahoe this weekend. Didn't see a single supra and haven't seen one since I've been in the states. Going through withdrawl. Bought my tent here for a measly 38 bucks and picking up a set of U.S. front calipers and rotors to swap onto the Jspec. Hopefully I can get that done before the trip, but it's down on the list as far as priorities. Getting antsy man. Can't wait to meet you guys in Venlo! Whitelightning
Hey - hope you are having fun. Who has nicked all the US supras then ? Update: Fitted No.1 camera to car (forward facing) Rear camera was delivered faulty but I can fix it tonight then fit tomorrow. Regassing aircon tomorrow afternoon. Everything else will be done by weekend so - we are a go go for Europe
Marco
Update on my trip: I left this morning already direction Belgium. The trip was fine, but the car got damaged on the ferrie They had a new ramp and didn't set the angle right. So my bumper cracked when I drove off! I filled in a damage claim form and they took full responsibility and will pay for the repairs. I just hope it can be repaired before I set off to Denmark thursday!!! Jspec Germany
Alright gents and ladies. I'm back in Germany after two weeks in 100 degree Nevada heat. Managed to pick up some goodies for the supe while I was there at a huge savings. U.S. spec front brakes complete for less than 600 USD and new hatch struts. Wife tells me the SLD arrived from THOR also. I will be busy this week getting the car prepped. TRD 320 KMh speedo going in also and I hope to get the flashing O/D OFF speed sensor error how-ya-doin sorted while I have the dash apart. Bought all the necessary soddering crap in case its the odometer and also completed my list of necessaries for cleaning the headlight lenses. Good thing I have two days off! CJ
I am back - and have problems!!! The nerw turbo is all fitted and running sweet but now the fule pump has packed in and I havent been able to get it to owen to drop the boost level down to 1.4 bar. If I leave the boost level high then i have been told it will blow the turbo again! As for tickets, I am not sure why anyone would think I have them. Like you, I have not given my home address and have only forwarded the money - as can be seen by the list of who has paid. I am assuming that the car reg and name attached to the payment details will allow us access. So, I am now waiting to see if things can be sorted before saying I am definitley going to be there

Have credit card - will travel as they say We are all meeting at Maidstone services on the way down, may I suggest leaving Maidstone services about 11:30hrs (Thu) to go to the Channel Tunnel with time for a pee and munchies ? Now no-one drop out - do your best to be there or TAZ will come round and flame you with her exhaust
JohnK
WL - me and Faye / Keith are meeting at sextons now, as I have to see Matt on the way. Do you want to join us there or wait for us at the services? CJ - we need the address of the hotel your staying in so we can meet you there. Whitelightning
John, I see the timings being tight so my plan so far is: 0815hrs - Leave Salisbury 1045hrs - Arrive Maidstone services 1115hrs - leave Maidstone services (so pick this window if you want to meet up) 1145hrs - Arrive Chunnel (Or CJ's Hotel and then Chunnel) 1258hrs - Chunnel leaves Let me know if you can get to services, you will have get to Sextons early - you know how long mechical jobs can take JSpec: How much did the 320km/h speedo face cost and from where ? (ta )
JohnK
Im aiming to get to Matt's for around 10, we ALL have to be at the tunnel before 12 as we need to ensure we are on the bottom deck of the train - I expect we are all too low to go up the ramp. All I have to do at Matt's is have a couple of quick runs with the DET cans on, so that wont take long.
