I don't know what's up with my Google-fu lately but I'm having real trouble finding sites related to US muscle cars.

I've found musclecarclub.com but that's about it! Mag wise I picked up a copy of Amusin' Kruisin' which has some nice cars and *cough* hot babes with tats. Lots of tats!

Can anyone into this sort of thing point me in the right direction?

Is 'Custom Car' & 'Street Machines' not in publication anymore? Maybe worth a search.

Ah. I knew there were a couple of mags out there. I coudn't remember the names though.

Street Machine seems to be no longer available (or the websites are broken).

Are you after a nice poster of your dream car (Corvette Z06) for your bedroom wall, per chance? ;)

No. I'm looking for an old US muscle car to buy at some point this year.

As long as I stay in a job and we don't all end up bartering because money has no value.

Bob Harman Performance in Watford did all the work on my Camaro, they really know there stuff and work on all kinds of US Muscle from cheap and cheerful to very expensive Stingrays etc, they have loads of knowledge and would be good to talk to regarding what US cars to look out for, they also stock parts etc

For US aftermarket stuff I used Summit Racing, you will be amazed how cheap US Muscle parts are, 2 new drive shafts $180, 2 Headers $150 full stainless exhaust with twin pipes $360

Hot Rod magazine puts most UK publications to shame, whilst not being an avid fan of pushrod V8's and ill handling behemoths, I have to say it is a superb magazine that has technical articles that never fail to hold my attention. Sadly the UK seems incapable of anything similar, these days, save for the very specialised Racecar Engineering, which is now seemingly in decline, being printed on what looks and feels like recycled tampons, and getting thinner by the edition.

The classic car show at the NEC in November (along side MPH show) had a large US muscle car contingent, some really decent cars and many for sale, some drag specific but a number of collectors clubs so they do exist. I'll see if I can find any of the info we might have picked up.

Custom Car is still going, thats my prefered hot rod mag, I'm also struggling to find any websites about the brittish scene.

Dream muscle car would have to be a 440 r/t Challenger though!

70 Challenger or a 69 Camaro are doing it for me. Silly money though. It'd be cheaper to buy a singled Supra!

The Challenger in the above link is pretty damn special though. Modern brakes, suspension etc. No wonder it costs so much.

Picked up a fair few mags today. Plenty of reading material for the bath.:D
