paulj1
Hi I've recently bought a manual tt which has been lowered and subsequently wears the inside of the tyres. I've had a quick look on the internet but can't seem to find anyone who sells adjustable suspension arms to solve this problem, could anyone point me in the right direction Thanks Paul

miko_supra
If you want adjustable suspention arms, whifbitz do them...http://garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=2312&Itemid=
georigg
Paul, The suspension on the Supra is adjustable as it has eccentric bushes in the bottom suspension arms which can be adjusted by turning the bushes. I have a write-up on my other computer and will try and extract the necessarypages tomorrow and post to you. Rgds George
Chris Wilson
If it's very low it won't work properly anyway, even with the cambers corrected. Would be far better to raise it to close to stock ride height, at which level the stock camber and castor adjusters will be fine.
legendswraith
If you are wearing the inside of the tires then the car is running too negative, this is because the act of lowering the car brings on negative camber and affects the toes as well. Best bet is to take it for a 4 wheel alignment at a reputable geometry place. My aristo is well lowered on 19s and originally the geo was all over the place to the point i blew out the 2 rear tyres due to inside tyre wear (my own fault for not looking). You will be suprised the amount of correction you will get by having it set up properly although as chris says you may have to raise the ride height to acheive stock settings lowered. I can personally recommend centre of gravity in atherstone where i had my car done and Tony at wheels in motion is very highly thought of as well, its just a bit of a trek from where you are. Worst case situation if you want to keep it low is you will need a camber correction kit which bolts on replacing the stock camber correctors
