monsween
Well heres the problem My car has not had a decat AFAIK. Not made these mods myself I have a turbo timer that reads the pressure so going with these readings. I have a boost gauge, just not got round to fitting it In 4th and 5th (not tried 6th) im getting high pressures. 0.77bar on first turbo then 0.95bar on second turbo. The second turbo then creeps up over 1bar the the fuel cut stops me from going higher. (Not a nice feeling hehe) Ive not tried it in 1st-3rd as its too wet and the turbo timer is down at my knee so i want to concentrate on the road lol. Whats likely the problem? I think the most likely problem is that there is one decat or even 2. Ive not had the car up to check to see if they are there yet Cheers in advance
kaahari
Is your car uk or j-spec? If J-spec, check that first cat, i think you can see it from engineroom. So, if there is only decat pipe, maby it is without restrictor ring? (assuming it is jspec) btw, I had samekind broblem in my jspec, there was a small crack in pipe between turbo 1 and wastegate actuator. 0,75 on turbo 1 and ~0.95+ on turbo 1+2. JDModified
Yes a split turbo to actuator pipe is common and will do this, if not next check is actuator itself and the correct movement of the wastegate. James
colsoop
When i first got my Supra it used to hit boost cut in 5th gear in very cold weather.
