Muffleman
Probable going single and keeping the car for a year or so. Am i correct in thinking the car will be worth the extra i pay for a single when i sell the car? I ask because the cars been up 4 sale with little interest. the single turbo cars seem to move and so do the standard. The cars with a full kit and a few mods dont seem to be moving why is this? IMO going single will reduce your market come sale time, although I could be wrong. But insurance will be higher and maintenance more specialised etc. But this is quite often the case with modded motors, I dread to think how much I've lost on mods !!! But I do it for ME, not for the next owner. Yes you SHOULD keep one eye on resale when modding, but I never do TBH if you're happy with the car and can afford to go for a single upgrade, then why not ! What else are you gonna find for the same money ? All the best Matt
afennell
Will know what im doing by the weekend. Dont like the idea of installing 2nd hand turbos. I think im having to spend money so going single unless i sell the car as it is.

Bobbeh
You'll never get 10k for a knackered car. I cant figure you out, you either want the car or you dont? What difference is a single turbo gonna make. Just sell the damn thing already

afennell
You'll never get 10k for a knackered car. I cant figure you out, you either want the car or you dont? What difference is a single turbo gonna make. Just sell the damn thing already Its all about standard of living. I love the car and can afford the car, just. It does on the other hand restrict me in other parts of life. The car is gorgeous and with so much work done on her I am reluctant to sell it unless for top price. I am not willing on spending money to replace the standard turbos, not adding any value or enjoyment to the car or ownership of her. Seems like a waste to me. The car is advertised for £11500 giving £1500 to play with. I have a quote for the two turbos re-con with steal shafts ect for £1200 plus fitting. Or second hand turbos for £300 plus fitting. Both prices are under what I have lowed the price by. If im spending this kind of money I will go single and keep her for another year. For some one in the industry or with the know how this car could be up and running for very little and sold for a profit, so I believe it to be a good price. Don’t ask Don’t get. HELP ME I CANT MAKE MY MIND UP, IM TURNING INTO MT MOTHER

Bobbeh
HELP ME I CANT MAKE MY MIND UP, IM TURNING INTO MT MOTHER I see what you're saying, sorry if I came over sounding rough, I just mean with me, it was must have or not at all. Single turbo will transform the car, but it'll probably cosr you more to insure and run etc etc. If you are looking for something more practical theres a good choice of motors now with similar power etc that are nippy. I mean, are you wanting a true sports/GT car or something thats quick and more sensible like a S4?
afennell
No the car has been on, off the market allot since Christmas and every body must be wondering what is going on. Im not looking for practicality just my debts paid off. Completely see where you’re coming from.
