d-_-b
Just wondering, did they check the online page against the printout when they did the price match?
Lukeyboy2k
Cheap in the states, i wonder if possible to upload uk maps. Probably, although it may require a hack. I think you might also have issues regarding the radio frequencies....
ellis
b;2233508']Just wondering' date=' did they check the online page against the printout when they did the price match?[/quote'] They did - they wanted to check that they had an actual store as well as the offer price. They're still the cheapest but it's another £65 more than the offer price (and they're offering the iPod Touch deal too). SatNav on the move is not advisable - best to set your bits up before you set off!!
d-_-b
Thought they prob would. Dammit lol. Well done on your keen eyes there and good idea going into the store! Got yourself a good bargain there, very nice piece of kit!

That'll soon hike the price back up!

Mind you, just done the same thing with buying tyres for the Supe and my lad's Almera - it is definitely a buyer's market at the moment.
R Black
Hi Ellis, did you update the firmware on your Pioneer?
ellis
It's got the latest firmware on now but for the maps etc, you need an upgrade from Pioneer - and they charge over £100 for that so I'm told!

imi
Not a bad piece of kit however I decided not to go for one for the following reasons: - No detachable faceplate (only Kenwood and JVC seem to do those). - wasnt sure about iphone 4 compatibility. and read loads of complaints about the F series here: http://avic411.com/ other than that, a great price for a decent spec unit. imi Edited November 10, 2010 by imi (see edit history)
