Guess Steve L's car weight

Ok guys.... firstly apologies it took so long!

The car has been weighed -

Without me or fuel she came in at 1338kg

Half a tank of fuel (35 litres) = 31kg (based on 0.9kg/litre)

.... so for the purpose of this little fun competiton the winner would be the one closest to

1369kg

... so looking through the thread, the winners are :

GrahamC and marbleapple who guessed 1368kg :D

Considering we haven't sorted out the doors/perspex for side windows yet I reckon we should be able to just dip below 1300kg without fuel.

(theres also other stuff that could still come out - wiring loom and some interior metal)

Which would be nice :)

Congrats!

:ecstatic:

I'd like to say it was skill but we all know that would be a joke.

Noted that grahamC said it before me so he should have the title imo. (and I scare myself in a Supra, never mind getting on the track with someone else!)

I am sure we could strap you in somewhere in the back, to the rollcage or something! :D Besides it was complete skill.

I am sure Paul could cut the trophy in half ;)

Right, here you go, something to do if your bored, who can guess the weight of Steve Linton's stripped out track Supra? Steve will be taking it to be weighed in the next week.

Car has been stripped of:

ABS, aircon, heater system, bits of the dash, all interior apart from main dash, carbon bootlid with perspex rear screen, more details of the car can be found here http://garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=53&Itemid=57

My guess is 1370kg

Prize for the winner is a ride in the said car at a test session

I am bringing my camera, helmet cam and 2nd pair of shorts!!

nearly forgot to look at this thread....

Nice result Steve, got to be happy with that :)

Still plenty more potential to lose weight, but sounds like an expensive game :D

Thanks,

Theres a couple of lardy places still left in there, hopefully we'll have them sorted soon :)

Hopefully we can get it down to sub 1300kg.

Would it have been so hard to take 2kg of wires out you half-assed monkeys!

Or did you want to keep the cruise control? :p
